How do I keep an apple from turning brown?

0

Once you cut open a apple (or avocado), it starts to brown when it gets with the oxygen in the air. You could somehow lay them flat on a plate or something flat so none of it is exposed, or put some sort of acidic food (liquid) on it. Lemons work best and are the cheapest. But cut them as close as you can to consuming them, if you leave them out for a day or overnight, it’s not guarantee it will stop browning If you are cutting them for an apple pie or something, and are using a water and lemon mixture, don’t leave them in too long or they’ll get soggy!
