How do I join the Quidditch Team?
You have to try out, just like in the books! Look for a post on your House Bulletin Board. Usually your team will have tryouts 2 times a year, once before the beginning of the school year and another after Christmas Holidays. Just keep an eye out for a post about it in your common room or PM your Head Student. We try to create a ‘starting line-up’ and a ‘second string’ or alternate line-up. In order to qualify for either line up you must be actively roleplaying. (Posts in OOC areas do not count) A player must have posted in the last 2-3 weeks prior to a Quidditch match to be considered a STARTING player. Any Quidditch player not having posted will be moved to the ALTERNATE squad. It is preferred that players have 75 posts before they are placed as a STARTING player, though exceptions can be made. Continued inactivity will lead to removal from the Quidditch Team.
