First, make sure you reformat your screen name to all lower letters and no spaces, otherwise your bot won’t recognize you as its owner. To do this: Go to My AIM on your buddy list, hit edit options, and format screen name. Make your letters lower case and remove all spaces. Then, invite it to a chat the same way you would any user on AIM.
