How do I invest my savings from Upromise partners in a 529 college savings plan?
Investing in a 529 plan through Upromise Investments is an easy process. Here’s how: • Open a 529 account with one of the 529 plans serviced by Upromise Investments. The beneficiary of that account will be a student for whom you are saving through your participation in the Upromise rewards service, a separate program offered by Upromise, Inc. • After you have a 529 account number, link your 529 account to your Upromise account by following these 2 steps: • In the Investments section of your Upromise account click on “Link a 529 Account” and select the 529 plan that you want to link; • Provide us with the plan name and account number, and information concerning the beneficiary of that account; and • Upromise will verify the information you entered and link the accounts.
