How do I interpret the headings of each column of the “Throughput Tests” page?
• First Host – The hostname of the first host in the test. • First Address – The IP address of the first host in the test. • Second Host – The hostname of the second host in the test. • Second Address – The IP address of the second host in the test. • Protocol – Indication that a TCP or UDP is being performed. • Duration – The length of the bandwidth test • Window Size – If a window size was selected for TCP tests, it will be displayed here. If a window was not selected (e.g. TCP auto-tuning) nothing will appear. • Bandwidth Limit – If a UDP test was selected, it is possible to limit the total bandwidth that can be consumed for a test. If the test is TCP or no limit was entered, this will be blank. • Bi-Directional – Indication that both directions of the test are available. OWAMP tests each direction, and when one direction has failed it may indicate: • Firewalls are preventing the test from completing • NTP is not synchronized on one of the hosts • Either host does not have available
