For pre Autopipe 6.2X , both wind design codes ASCE-7 and UBC ground is always taken as the global vertical axis coordinate = 0. For the ASCE-7 wind code, when elevations in the piping model are < 15 feet, the program defaults to an elevation = 15 feet to determine the automatic code factors. For the UBC wind code, if elevations in the piping model are negative, the automatic code factors may become very small resulting in a small calculated wind Pressure. In this case, the piping system should be moved vertically to correctly position the ground elevations relative to the global vertical axis coordinate = 0. Use Modify/coordinate and enter the appropriate vertical movement. Note: For UBC code elevations > 400ft are considered with no wind.
