How do i interpret my ASVAB scores?
My dad and my brother-in-law were in the Navy and I learned how to interpret ASVAB scores. You get a score for each of the tests that you took. If you look at your percentile in a certain test and it says, for example, 80th percentile this means 20% of those that took the test scored better than you and 79% scored lower than you. Recruiters are very interested in where you scored and low scores can keep you out of the military. Keep in mind, there is no passing or failing score with an ASVAB. These scores are used to help determine what jobs you would be suited for in the armed forces as well. You can find more information here: http://www.baseops.net/militarybooks/asv…
