• First, you need the three NT boot disks; if you have the NT CD, but not the disks, you can create them on another system with CD-ROM access. • Put the NT CD in the other system and go to \i386 and type “winnt /ox” and have three blank formatted disks ready. • Boot off the disks and do a SELECTIVE install; this is required because NT does not come with default SCSI driver for the Adaptec 7890 controller. • When prompted, insert the manufacturer’s driver disk for the Adaptec and select the appropriate controller and operating system version.
