Disk imaging technology allows you to create an image of an OfficeScan client and make clones of it to other computers on your network. Each client installation needs a Globally Unique Identifier (GUID), so that the server can identify your clients individually. Use an OfficeScan program called ImgSetup.exe to create a different GUID for each of the clones. Note: The computers you are installing to must have the same Windows platform type as the source computer. There are two types of Windows platforms: Windows 95/98/Me and Windows NT/2000/XP/Server 2003 For example, if the source OfficeScan client machine is running Windows XP, you can only create clones for computers running Windows NT, 2000, XP, or Server 2003, not Windows 95, 98 or Me.
