How do I install the wind direction arrow properly?
Turn the Shaft until 180 degrees appears next to the bearing on the monitor. This shows the wind direction. Align the wind vane”s tail with the bar. The tail of the arrow would face the base of the anemometer. The tip away from the anemometer. Then carefully press the wind vane down onto the shaft. Do not allow the shaft to turn as you press the wind vane down onto it. Use a small Philips screwdriver to tighten the screw on the base of the wind vane. Then insert one of the supplied rubber screw covers into the screw”s hole to protect the screw from corrosion.
