How do I install the license for my Graphical Measurement Application (GMA) N4017A software?
1) When you redeem your N4017A entitlement certificate at http://www.agilent.com/find/softwarelicense, you must decide if you wish to lock the software to an N4010A test set or to a PC. If you decide to license it to a test set, then you provide its serial number and you can run the software on any PC, and if you license it to a PC, then you provide its MAC address and you can run the software with any N4010A test set. In either case, the license file must reside on the PC that is running the software. To determine the MAC address of the PC, you may either: Type ipconfig /all from a DOS prompt and copy the address from the resulting information, or Launch the N4017A application, select Demo Mode from the buttons on the right side and wait for the application to open.
