ITaP Networks and Security (ITNS) recently recommended a change for users who remotely connect to the Purdue network for secured access to system resources. They are encouraging these users to switch to a newly available software package called the “Cisco VPN Client”. This new software will more efficiently utilize network resources for off-campus network access. SSTA laptops have the new Cisco VPN Client installed and customers with home computers connecting via VPN should reference ITaP’s knowledgebase article for software download and installation instructions.
