How do I install the Canon Windows XP/2000 printer driver on my new Windows XP computer?
Windows XP automatically installed the Windows XP Device Driver when you connected your device. Canon developed Windows XP/2000 drivers for certain models (refer to compatibility chart), download the appropriate driver and follow the instruction below. Installation for printers: • Be sure the PRINTER IS POWERED OFF and then connect the USB or Parallel cable to the printer and computer.
