How do I install Resco Explorer?
If you are using Windows 9x/ME/2000/XP you can simply download the exe file from our web page and run it. It will do the entire job for you and you won’t need to follow the instructions listed under Device Installation using CABs. If you use MAC, Linux, or other non-Windows OS or if you want to perform the installation manually, you must download the appropriate CAB file (depending on your device’s processor). Then you must copy the downloaded file to the device and run it there. Copying Files to the Device • Download the CAB file from our web page – click here • Explore My Computer and locate the CAB file • Right-click the file and select Copy (or press Ctrl+C) • Open the Microsoft ActiveSync window and check if it is in the connected state (the icon must be green) • Click the Explore icon which will open a window named Mobile Device.
