Installing PowerPanel within Windows 95/98/NT (Utility series) Click on Start. Select Settings. Select Control Panel. Double-click on Add/Remove Programs. Insert the disk into the floppy drive. Click on the Install button. Follow the on-screen instructions. Once the software is installed, remove the disk from the floppy drive and restart your computer. Every time you start your computer, PowerPanel® Plus will appear on the screen and disappear within seconds. This is the normal operation of the program. It minimizes itself and appears as a battery icon in the lower right corner of your screen next to the time display. Click on the battery icon to bring the PowerPanel Plus display up on your screen. To minimize, click on the “minimize bar” (small bar just under the orange power button.) The PowerPanel® Plus display will minimize to the battery icon by the time display in the lower right corner of the screen. The orange Power button is used only if you wish to disable the software.
