How do I install Ovi Maps voice guidance files to my device?
You need to install the voice guidance pack to your device and select the desired voice pack in Ovi Maps before you can hear the navigation voice instructions. The voice guidance packs can be installed either via Ovi Suite or by downloading the voice packs directly to your device. The voice packs with street names (voice packs with computer voices) can be used with both drive and walk navigation, the other voice packs are available only with drive navigation. Installation via Ovi Suite: • Plug in your device to PC running Ovi Suite (select Ovi Suite or PC Suite mode as connection mode). • Go to Maps menu in Ovi Suite (View > Go to > Maps). • In the leftmost column select Voice guidance languages. • Select the desired language and click Download to start installing the voice guidance pack. • Go to Ovi Maps and select Settings > Navigation > Drive guidance or Walk guidance. • From the list of voice packs, select the voice guidance pack that was installed via Ovi Suite (the installed pack
