How do I install my floating licence on Linux?

To install the license server you must have root privileges. • Download the Imagineer Systems Licence Manager for Linux. • Extract the archive and log in as root. • Execute ./install_isllmgrd.sh • Copy your licence file (isl_license.dat) into /usr/local/ISL/FLEXlm/. The licence file will have been sent to you as an email attachment. • Start the server by typing /etc/init.d/isllmgrd start The server will start automatically at runlevels 2, 3, 4 and 5. FLEXlm messages are logged to /var/log/isllmgrd.log The init script accepts the usual start, stop, restart and status commands, and also reread, which rereads the licence file. The daemon is run by default as the nobody user, if this does not exist on your system either create it or edit the script to use a different non-root user. To use the license server from Imagineer Systems products, open the file license.
