How do I install multiple pdfMachine printers with different options?
There is a way to achieve multiple pdfMachine printers, each with different configuration options. Its a bit tricky to setup, but here are the instructions: Steps: 1. Download the pdfMachine.exe self extracting zip file. 2. unzip the pdfMachine.exe into a temporary directory. (winzip will do this) 3. On a machine that has does not have pdfMachine installed, run the bgssetup.exe program (from the temporary directory) such as: bgssetup.exe -printer=”pdfMachine printer 2″ This will create a printer called “pdfMachine printer 2″ with its own configuration options. 4. Then run: bgssetup.exe -addPort -printer=”pdfMachine printer 3” This will create a printer called “pdfMachine printer 3” with its own configuration options.
