How do I install model 2263 into a Singer sewing cabinet?

Question was asked if model 2263 would fit into a singer sewing machine cabinet, anwer was YES. Please tell me how to install mdl. 2263 into a Singer sewing cabinet that previously held model 648. That model had two protrusions with screw holes on the back that would screw into hooks on the cabinet. 2263 does not have the protrusions/screw holes.
