How do I Install HP Mediasmart Ex475 Home Server Power Pack 1?
The HP Mediasmart Ex475 is a home media server that provides a central location for your media files. Instead of having your files on many different computers in one house, the Mediasmart stores them for every computer and compatible device in the household. Mediasmart uses a special Windows operating system designed for media devices. Like normal Windows installations, the Mediasmart has a number of updates and service packs it needs installed to patch security holes, cure computer issues and fix compatibility problems. Go to the task tray. Double-click the green icon that has a small house with a check mark on it. It’s labeled “Windows Home Server.” Enter your username and password for Windows Home Server, if prompted.
