How do I install fuel filter for 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 with the Cummins diesel?
Unscrew the plastic lid. remove lid and filter. Filter is attached lightly to lid. Drain housing with the yellow handle. Rinse out any debris in the bottom. Install lid, and filter with new O-ring. tighten lid. Bump starter (crank for less than 1 sec) leave key on for 30 sec.( fuel will prime ) Crank engine and it should start.
