How do I install an EGR valve for 2005 dodge durango?
To install the EGR Valve on a 2005 Durango first it is necessary to remove the air intake hoses and palce them to the side. Next, in order to get the EGR valve you will need to remove the windshield wiper motor, which is a pain but necessary to do get to the EGR valve. After removing all of the itemsthat are in the way you will be faced with a task that will try your patience, the EGR valve is located on the right side of the motor, (as if you were facing the motor from the front) just behind and to the rear of the throttle body. After you locate it you will need a rachet with a flexible head because it is fairly difficult to reach otherwise. A mirror and light will also help so you can see what you are doing since the EGR valve is located in such a hard place to see and get to that you will only be able to see part of it while you are removing the screws.
