How do I install a license key file into the Agilent X-Series (MXA/EXA) Signal Analyzer?
Licensed options require the redemption and installation of a license key file (.lic). The process steps involved in installing a licensed option include: Order the option. Receive the Upgrade Entitlement Certificate in the mail or through email. Click here for an Example of the Upgrade Entitlement Certificate Redeem the License File at the Agilent Software Redemption Website You will receive the License File through email. Click here for an example of a License File Copy the attached License File onto the root directory of a USB storage device. Connect the USB storage device to any USB port on the analyzer. The analyzer will automatically consume the license file. When the license file is consumed the Agilent License manager will display a “Successful License Installation” message. Press [System], {Show}, {System} on the analyzer to confirm the option has been activated.
