How do I insert symbols (such as the copyright symbol) in my WinHelp files?
There are three ways. The first way works with Word 6.0 only, I believe: 1. Select Insert Symbol Choose Normal Text, not Symbol font. Select the copyright symbol 2. Hold down the Alt key and type 0169 (on the numeric keypad) 3. Insert the code {\’A9} (including the braces) in the .rtf file or your Word document. Remember that WinHelp 3.1 and 4.0 both support the characters in the Symbol font . WinHelp 4.0 also supports the Wingdings font. In all cases, the user must have the specified font installed on their system to display the characters correctly in WinHelp.
