How Do I Input GPS Coordinates in Rino?
Garmin Rino handheld GPS units provide users with real-time directions when navigating from one location to another. One method of receiving directions to a location is through the use of waypoints. Users have several methods for creating waypoints, including manually entering the latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates. If you know the exact coordinates of your destination, you can create a waypoint and receive directions. Press in on the Rino’s thumb stick and hold it until the “Shortcuts” menu appears on the screen. Select “Mark Waypoint” by highlighting it and pressing in on the thumb stick. The screen will display several open fields. Select “Details,” highlight “Lat” and press in on the thumb stick. Enter the latitudinal coordinates using the onscreen keyboard. To use the onscreen keyboard, highlight each number and press in on the thumb stick. When the entire coordinate is entered, select “OK.” Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for the “Lon” field to enter the longitudinal coordinates. Ente
