How do I inject the Gonal F pen “slowly”?
Dial your dose and pinch your belly where you will inject. Jab the needle in. Release the pinch. You are right. You can hear the clicks clearly. Press with your thumb one click at a time. The trick to not bruising is not only injecting slowly but also applying pressure. Once the meds are in, wait 10 second, pull the needle out and immediately apply firm pressure with one of your fingers to stop the bleeding for about another 10 seconds. I bruised lots until I learned that trick! As for going for your ultrasound on cd7, that is pretty much the standard. They can always up your meds then. No worries! ETA: You FSH is still well within normal range and it can drop. Mine did by a lot! Warming the injection in your hands for a few minutes is a good idea only because warm going in feels a little better than cold. Your dose is so low I don’t think you’ll be able to tell much. It didn’t really bother me doing mine straight from the fridge so don’t panic if you can’t or forget. Grow follies GROW
