How do I indicate a players location relative to the tackle box, or the blocking zone?
Both the tackle box and the blocking zone have a width of ten yards, centered on the snapper. InstaRef approximates this: Events at the same lateral location as the snap (which can be either the left hash, the center, or the right hash) are deemed to be within those ten yards. So, for example, if the snap is at the B-34, left hash, then events at the B-31 to B-37, at the left hash, are within the blocking zone, and events behind the B-34, at the left hash, are within the tackle box.
