How do I increase my mic volume when recording – I have the Realtek HD sound manager?
Have you adjusted the Microphone volume settings under the “record” option in the volume controls? Double click on the volume control. Make sure microphone is not turned down here. Then click on Options | Properties | Click in the circle next to Recording| Make sure Microphone is Checked here. Click on OK. It should be “selected” and you can control the volume control here. Since you didn’t say if it is a stand alone or part of a headset, you may also need to do the above, but check “Other” |Headset and OK.
