How do I increase my endurance for swimming (or anything physical)?

Swimming really uses every part of your body. That is why you didn’t feel like you could walk straight and were pretty much wiped out. The first few times you do it, your body will be sore, because it’s not used to that much physical activity. After a while your body will recognize swimming as part of it’s normal “routine” and it won’t be as difficult. When I first started lifting weights I had that same problem. At first, you’ll feel like you aren’t able to do as much as that first time, but that’s because your body is still getting used to it. Even if you don’t feel like you are doing as much, keep at it. You’ll notice the difference after a while!
