The landing: * Attempt up hill or using a cheese mat until you master proper landing technique and move to the floor or grass. * Push off hard from your hands (Block) by using your shoulder muscles to propel you to a standing position. (do not bend your arms) * Bring your feet back underneath you without pike-ing. The better your block, the easier this will be. * If you are still having problems standing up correctly on the landing you may need to swing harder and put more power into the beginning of your back handspring. * Don’t squat low to the ground when you take off or land. 2.
