RefWorks Some databases can directly export citations to RefWorks; in other databases, search citations need to be first saved as text, then be imported from RefWorks. See online RefWorks tutorial for more information. EndNote PubMed: • Access PubMed and execute your search. • Place a check next to relevant records and then select “Clipboard” from the pull-down menu next to the “Send to” button. • Click on the “Clipboard” tab to display marked citations. Next, select “MEDLINE” in the dropdown menu next to the “Display” button. • Choose “File” from the “Send to” drop-down list, and then click on “Send to”. Select “Save” on the following screen. In the next screen you will be able to change the file name -saved with a *.txt extension. • In EndNote, open the library where you would like these references saved. • Select “Import” from the “File” menu.
