Both RefWorks and EndNote require you to specify options to correctly identify the type of file you’re importing. In RefWorks, select Filter: RIS Format; Database: RIS Format UTF-8; Encoding: UTF-8. In EndNote, select Import Option: Reference Manager (RIS).
