New Instructions for Identifying Recovery Act funded Awards in FPDS after July 10, 2010 These instructions represent a change from the instructions provided in OMB memorandum M-09-10, dated February 18, 2009. If you use the web portal or a contract writing system combination GUI/Business Services, report all Recovery Act funded actions in FPDS as follows: • Select American Recovery and Reinvestment Act ( code ‘ARRA’) in the Initiative field; and • Input the Treasury Account Symbol (TAS) in the TAS fields provided. If you use a contract writing system’s Business Services only interface (i.e., you never see the FPDS input screens) and the contract writing system has certified to FPDS V1.4, report all Recovery Act funded actions using your contract writing system and it will send the following information to FPDS fields: • ‘ARRA’ in the Initiative field; and • The Treasury Account Symbol (TAS) in the TAS fields.
