How Do I I Change The Programs That Run At Start Up?
Virtually all applications that you install using the default installation these days decide that they should start-up when Windows starts (ej messenger, winamp, adobe reader, itunes, quicktimes, etc), it is really unnecessary to have such programs running if you don’t use them consistently. To control which program is allowed automatically startup, follow these steps: 1) USING THE SYSTEM TRAY (bottom right of your desktop) If the application icon is on your system tray, then the best option is to check if you can disable the automatically startup function. Normally you right-click the application icon on the System Tray icon an look for “options or settings or preferences” then look for something like Startup at windows boot” and uncheck the option.
