How do i hook up my laptop to my printer?

Im guessing that your printer connects via USB cable. Just plug the cable into your laptop. If you have Windows, it should install the drivers itself. If it still doesnt recognize it, you will need the disc that came with the printer. Go to the control panel and click on the printers tab to look at the printers connected to your computer.

Use the USB port on the laptop and hook up / connect to the printer using the printer wire.

Most printers have usb ports. (It would look like a small boxy place for a cord to fit in). You can purchase a usb cable at best buy and attach it to your printer and computer (with the usb ports that are probably located on the side of the laptop.) Plug and chug.

first just plug in cord into the laptop and also to the printer then go to control panel and click add a printer and type in the name of the printer or just follow the steps to add the printer…it might not work on ur laptop but it does for more than 75% of them

turn off your laptop. plug in the power to your printer. then plug in the usb cable into your laptop. then start up your laptop. it should detect recognize your printer. if not then read the instructions it came with. mainly just need to put in the cd and install the printer. insanely easy to do. if you dont have that then go to google and type in the name of your printer and the model of it and then type drivers ex. hp 1200 drivers then find the driver and download it and install and your all set. then go to control panel and add the printer.
