How do I hook up a dvd player recorder to my tv, so I can record?

Hi dbird30, You will notice that your DVD player has two types of cables, one that is three cables in one with yellow, red and white colors; and other that is bigger and cylindrical, we call this a coaxial cable. To record from the TV you must unplugg the TV’s cable and plugg it into your DVD player, plugg it where it says ‘cable’ or ‘input’. Now you must connect the coaxial cable it came with your DVD player and plugg it into the DVD player where it says ‘to TV’ or ‘output’ and connect the other side of the coaxial cable to the TV. At the end you should see that the cable that was plugged into your TV is now plugged into your player, and the player is now connected through another coaxial cable to the TV.
