How do I help my four year old understand the concept of death?
You don’t need to explain the concept of death. You just need to answer her questions simply. Be honest but don’t give so much information that you confuse her. Tell her that she can’t go to heaven because you would miss her, and tell her that the fish do not need food now that they are in heaven. If someone is sick and she ask if they are dying just say no, they just have a cold, flu, etc. Good Luck!
