How do I help my child learn to stop hitting, biting or throwing tantrums?
• Children are physically aggressive when they can’t verbalize what they want. The way to teach children to stop communicating physically is to encourage them to use their words. Each time the child uses physical communication to communicate their needs, remind them to use their words and do not give them what they want until they use their words.
