How do i help my best friend who is becoming seriously anorexic?
You’re trying to tackle something way beyond your experience here, beyond many people’s experience in fact. First you have to remind yourself that your friend is not well and her eating habits are not stable and not to be copied. I’m willing to lay large sums of money that you are not fat but even if you were overweight, anorexia is not the route to go. Second, you really can’t do much in terms of helping your friend by yourself, and you need to be prepared that any action you take may well mean your friend, stops wanting to be your friend. She needs expert help (whether she accepts that or not is not the issue), as this disease is very serious and in extremes can be life threatening. I don’t want to frighten you but this is why you can’t tackle this on your own. Honey, you need to tell an adult, probably a parent or a teacher. A teacher is less emotionally involved and would be a good person to tell. If you feel it would be easier, then you should try and tell one of your parents rath
