How do I hear and talk using Gizmoz?
To hear the Gizmoz talk, you will need a set of speakers or headphones connected to your computer. To record your voice, you will need a microphone. Most computers have 1/8 size microphone input jacks, so make sure the microphone you settle on using has the proper connector on it (stereo or mono microphones should work the same). See below for an example 1/8″ microphone plug (left), and audio input jacks (right), where the red one with the microphone icon is the one you need to plug your microphone into. Simply plug your microphone into the microphone jack (which is identifiable on most computers by a microphone icon or text abbreviation or the color red) and youre ready to go!
