– stop running (’till the pain goes) – gently stetch (do not strech so fat as to cause pain), suggest you do stairdrops; stand facing up the stairs with toes and ball of foot on a step with the rest of your body as straight as possible, lower your heel – Ice, heat, ice, heat, ice, heat etc (15 mins of each) – Go for a massage from a reputable sports massage therapist Do not go running on pain killers, as the probelm still exists and you will only make it worse – pain is your body’s natural way of telling you to be nice to it!
