How do I hang curtains beyond the window frame?
Decide How Far to GoStep back from the window with a pencil, and visualize how far beyond the frame you would like curtains to hang. Mark the wall. See if there are any impeding structures between your marks and the window frame, such as light fixtures or artwork. If the area is clear, measure the width between your pencil marks.Choose and Install the HardwareSelect a curtain rod and hardware. If you are using a decorative finial, examine the space past your wall marks to ensure if will fit on both sides. If the width between your wall marks is more than 5 feet, install a center bracket in the middle of the rod for support.
