How do i grow an apple tree from an apple pip (in the UK)?

Put 4 or 5 apple pips in a 4″ plastic pot with a good general fertiliser. and keep the soil moist – not wet – (if you touch the soil, just a little should stick to you finger). Feed with ‘Baby Bio’ about once every two weeks. Leave the pot on a south facing window sill and wait. Should more than one seed germinate, take out the weakest. When the plant is about 6″ tall re-pot in a 6″ pot – and so on, until the plant is strong enough to plant outside… Good luck. The tree will take about two years to develop fruit.
