Eventually, in all studies, the master’s degree course will constitute the compulsory training period ofdoctoral programs and students will have to complete a minimum of 300 credits between their degree studies and postgraduate studies in order to then go on to write a PhD. For the time being, however, Spanish universities will continue to offer those older doctoral programs that are still operational.
