How do I go about tracing my ancestors-I haven a clue what to do?
I assume that you mean that you do not have a clue how to record the information that you gleam from your older relatives and how to go about verifying that it is correct. I would suggest that you go to you local library, genealogy or historical society or Family History Center. You local public library will have books on genealogy and the basics to how to record your information. The other three will probably have classes or can recommend where you can go for classes on how to trace and record the findings, because Genealogy has suddenly gotten to be big business again. Most of all understand that this is not something that you can sit down for a couple hours on a rainy Saturday afternoon and walk away with several hundred years of research, not if you want an accurate and accepted Genealogy.
