Hi The previous poster seems to assume you are from the US, but as you are doing GCSEs I guess you are from UK. Technically you have the right to work here in Spain, and I assume that includes the police. However you should be aware that there are several types of ‘Police’ in Spain. I’m pretty sure you couldn’t join the Guardia Civil because they are technically part of the military and you can’t join the army. You could probably join the Policia though – probably best to check with the Embassy. Do be aware that if you are planning to move to a region with an additional official language (Catalan in Catalunya, Euskadi in the Basque Country etc) you would need that languague as well as Castellano Spanish.
