How do i go about getting someone to make my wedding dress?
That’s awesome because you will get it done just how you want it. First of all, figure out exactly how you want it….look at wedding magazines etc. Once you have it down to two dresses, find someone who knows how to do clothes, someone with experience, try asking in a dry cleaner’s place. Then just tell the person what you want and what he/she recommends…what materials they need and go buy it where they sell that sort of stuff…maybe the person should go with you so that you get everything that is needed. I had my dress made and I found the person that made it because she made my cousin’s prom dress. I would say ask around. If you can find someone that has had a dress made it would be better than just looking on the phone book. That way you have some work to actually look at and also someone that can tell you about their experience.
