I don’t know what country you’re in, but in the UK there;s only really three options: – cable, which I’m sure you won’t have – ADSL, which means you have to be within a few km of a telephone exchange (enabled for ADSL, but most are). The further away you are the slower it gets. Try putting your new postcode or farm phone number into the service page of any ISP. – 3G mobile, but I be surprised if you get a 3G signal in most rural areas. There is such a thing as internet via satellite but it is very expensive.
