How do i get WEP key with an IP adress of 192.168.0.2 with netgear?
First off, your ip address is “assigned” by your Internet Provider. WEP keys are encrytion keys to help with your security on your network to prevent “unauthorized” access. Turn off all your security UNTIL you get your nintendo to be “recognized” by the router. (Make sure mode on router is set to “mixed” and not “g-only”). Then you can re-enable the security. Not all wireless devices are able to use them, some require you to “manually” enter the WEP key as in the case of your nintendo ds.
