How do I get viewlinc to send alarms to a cell phone?
There are a couple of things that need to be in place to have viewLinc send alarms to mobile phones. • You need a mobile phone that is either capable of receiving emails or text messages. In the latter case, you need a service from your phone provider that converts emails to text messages and forwards them to your phone. • The computer from which viewLinc is sending the alarm emails must be permitted by the email server to relay messages. Message relaying is permitted by default on most email servers, but corporate security policies may require this to be restricted.
